With this product you can capture reports generated in CICS or
IMS intended for 3270 printers and store it in your spool system
(JES or POWER). From there you can print the reports on your system
printers or you can process the report with other report handling
softwares such as JES2MAIL,
JES2FTP,
VSE2PDF,
and similar products.
You can also define your network printers and send your print
directly to your printers without the need of protocol converters.
The only thing you need to do is to define virtual printers in
the product, give them characteristics of your choice, such as
class and form (see sample),
and then direct your CICS or IMS reports to the virtual printer
instead of the real printer. It can't be simpler.
