About the TN3270 server
InterSession version 6.10 comes with a built-in TN3270/TN3270E server.
This server allows users to logon directly to InterSession without having
an additional VTAM session between the TCP/IP stack and InterSession. The
figures below shows how it works.
This figure shows traditional access to InterSession via a TCP/IP
stack.
This figure shows direct access to InterSession from the TCP/IP
stack.
